I’m a product manager with a background in technical writing and community management. I worked on Delicious, which was a Web 2.0 social bookmarking website, then worked on Cydia, the alternative to the App Store for jailbroken iOS devices. As part of Cydia, I participated in the US Copyright Office’s rulemaking process for DMCA exemptions, which was fascinating. I decided to leave the tech industry and switch to government work, so I joined 18F and served as Deputy Director of cloud.gov.
